3:30 PM Friday 6/13/08

April 23 2008: Check the exam Rooms for the room you should take exams in. You are allowed one 8.5" by 11" page of notes and a calculator. Bring a blue book with your name printed on it. Mar 31, 2008: Labs and discussion begin March 31. You can pick up a lab manual either from Navin's Copy Shop or download it from the web: http://www.physics.ucdavis.edu/classes/Physics9Lab/Phy9ALab/ . To Change Discussion: DO NOT USE SIS Web to change discussion. It will drop you from the course!!! Go to the Discussion you wish to get into and see if there is room. The TA will take care of the switch. Add lecture or lab: If you want to add the lecture or a lab, go to the one you wish to add and see if they have space. All PTA#s are handled through your lab TA. Only she/he has the software that can generate a PTA for both the lab and the lecture. If you get a PTA #, be sure to use the PTA#within 48 hours because they expire. Use only lab sections 1-15. Repeating the course: If you are repeating the course, please go to the Physics Dept. Office and sign the permission to use last year's lab grade form to reuse you lab grade. Do it the first week of class.

Many of the files are in pdf format. You need Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 to view them. Luckily both the Reader and the Plug-in are free from Adobe. If you place the plug-in in the "Plug-ins" folder to your web browser (either Netscape or MS Internet Explorer) you can view these files directly on your computer from within your browser. Be sure to Quit out of the Browser and restart the Browser after placing the plug-in in the browser's plug-in folder. You can also use the reader to view them and print them.
